Getting back into the motion and grind of actual life is most difficult after a vacation perusing the beaches and waters of St. Croix. It’s simply not fair; going back to work with a pasted on smile and sunburned forehead. I, much like the rest of you, would prefer to spend the days contemplating pressing decisions like paddle board or kayak (I prefer the latter).
During a hike through the hilly areas of the island, I was reminded of how often nature influences my wardrobe choices, unbeknownst to me. In a previous post, I discussed the effectiveness of a blue and green combination. To that, I add brown and green. It’s a transition that’s been around (think leaves and branches).
Recently, I opted for a forest green silk knit tie and a brown pocket square with white polka dots.
